Description

The Trenton Union Church (also known as the Goose Cove Church) was built in 1844. According to a newspaper article about the church's rededication in 1944 - "a group met pursuant to a warrent issued by William Thompson, and elected David Marshall moderator; Ephram Alley, clerk; William Haynes, David Haynes and Moses Anderson, trustees."

The church was one of only two that was built in Trenton. It was torn down in the 1970's. It was located on the Goose Cove Road and was beside the Goose Cove Cemetery (also known as the Evergreen Cemetery).
